Butcher Shop
The unique feature of a Western Beef meat department is the walk-in refrigerated cooler. It is an experience like no other. Customers can stroll through isles of the largest selections of bulk meats, fresh cut meats and provisions; a customer can always be assured to find their favorite cuts. A customer can select a bulk item and have it custom cut by our experienced butcher at no additional charge. Our meat warehouse sells over 200 million pounds of product annually. This volume guarantees freshness and allows Western Beef to purchase meat products at the lowest cost, and pass these savings to our valued customers.
In our meat departments, “ We know the Neighborhood” and offer all our customers favorites from here or back home, such as, filet mignon, porterhouse steaks, pork chops, pork shoulders, whole chickens, chicken parts, lamb chops, leg of lamb,beef tripe, oxtails, liver, beef tongue, calf hearts, goat meat, mutton, pig feet, pig ears, plus many more not found in a traditional supermarket.
Delicatessen
At our full service deli counters we offer fresh salads and a full line of premium cold cuts, sliced to your order. We carry a large selection of domestic and imported cheeses from around the world.
Every day Western Beef prepares great tasting rotisserie chicken, fried chicken and other prepared meals. We also take customers orders for party hero’s (2 to 6 foot) prepared on our own fresh brick oven bread, prepared with only the best cold cuts.
Western Beef also offers specialty items such as, olives, imported pasta, imported olive oils, dry sausage and salami, and Spanish salchichon. All this, plus more at our everyday low prices
Brick Oven Bakery
The distinctive feature of our bakery departments is the rotating brick ovens, which enable us to bake old fashioned breads, just like your New York neighborhood bakery.
Our experienced bakers start at the crack of dawn and are busy throughout the day making your favorite Italian, Semolina, French and other specialty breads, from scratch using our own special recipe.
We also bake from scratch other specialty items, such as pound cakes, cheese cakes, pudding cakes, ring cakes, pies, cookies and more.
Fresh Seafood
From wild-caught fresh fish to shrimp and much more, you can find all your favorites in our seafood department. Take home seafood salads and dips, along with frozen fish for later.
Grocery, Dairy, Frozen
Western Beef carries a full line of grocery, dairy and frozen items that a conventional supermarket would, plus more at everyday low prices.
In our warehouse style stores we display many bulk size items, like cereals, paper goods, can goods, sugar, rice, oils, frozen vegetables, French fries, frozen pizza, frozen pancakes and waffles, dairy cheeses, eggs and many more. We offer our customers the largest selection of international items from all over the world including Europe, Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Operating our own warehouse with our high volume, allows Western Beef to buy truckloads direct from national and international manufacturers, cutting out the middle man and then passing these savings to our customers in the form of lower prices.
